Moony finds Reno and her Angels, and lays out his plan. Reno thinks the whole idea is intriguing, and agrees to help. But she warns Moony not to put Billy in danger, otherwise he'll be running from more than just the Feds. Billy hastily assures her that he's only got Billy's best interests in mind, and as Billy finds his two friends, they join in the song "Friendship" ![]()

If you're even in a jam... here I am!
If you ever need a pal... I'm your gal!
If you ever feel so happy you land in jail... I'm your bail!
Friendship! Friendship! Just the perfect Blend-ship!
When other friendships have been forgot,
Ours will still be hot!![]()

As Billy trots off Sir Evelyn arrives, sees Reno and immediately is smitten. He asks "Dr. Moon" who that glorious creature is, and Moony, surprised to find his plan already in motion, introduces them. Reno, smitten herself by Sir Evelyn, agrees to an invitation to tea. She arrives, but finds Sir Evelyn hopeless to understand her American slang advances. Frustrated, she is about to leave when Moony barges in and accuses Sir Evelyn of complicity with the "innocent American dame". A comic interlude occurs where Sir Evelyn, delighted with all the slang being thrown in his direction, scribbles everything down in his little notebook, getting all the meanings to the phrases mixed up. ![]()
Up on deck Billy disguised as an old woman, has taken possession of Mrs. Harcourt's deck chair. Hope instantly recognizes him and starts to laugh, but Sir Evelyn is clueless as Billy introduces himself at "Mrs. Bernard Shaw." ![]()
Billy takes Hope's hand to warm it, chatting about the cold and whatnot until a suddenly suspicious Sir Evelyn snatches it away, frowning. Hope is still trying vainly to hide her giggles as Billy growls in an old lady voice to Sir Evelyn "Oh, I so dearly loves to hear an Englishman talk. Why don't you be a dear, and so somewhere.... and talk!" ![]()
Billy's current chances that Sir Evelyn will go away come to an end when Mrs. Harcourt marches on deck, demanding to know who this person is in her deck chair. As she whips off the lap robe, she reveals Billy in his sailor suit. Outraged, she yells for the ship's officers as Billy leaps up and dashes away. Mrs. Harcourt demands the captain find that sailor, and the scene closes as the ship's crew march offstage in search of the missing "sailor".
